Obi Valley View only offers pure raw honey, directly from the hives of happy bees. It is cold filtered, never heat
treated, so you can enjoy great tasting honey as well as all the health benefits of raw honey.

The bees that we support and care for live and forage in the wonderfully clean environment of the Upper Obi Obi Valley and Kondalilla National Park, at an altitude of 400 metres.

We also have hives in the beautiful environment of Maleny farmland where the bees can forage from the Mary Cairn Cross Nature Reserve.

All of these bees are free-ranging, and the flowers they forage from include mostly native flowers, but also herb, vegetable and garden flowers.

We work respectfully alongside the bees and only harvest honey when the bees have excess honey resources.

After the honey is extracted, it is cold filtered, never heat treated. The resulting pure raw honey has all its natural nutrients preserved.

This ensures you can enjoy all the natural health benefits of raw honey.

Our raw honey is a natural, versatile and healthy substitute for sugar.

It can be used in tea and coffee, drizzled on breakfast cereal, and is great on bread, toast, pikelets, pancakes and desserts.

Honey can be used as an alternative to sugar when baking bread, cakes or biscuits. However, honey has more moisture and is a stronger sweetener than sugar, so some alteration to the recipe may be needed.
